Poem: Falling into a False Reality

(To think I wrote this before everyone had phones and computers and what not. I’m worried…)

Falling into a False Reality

They see it, all of it.
The constant changing motions.
I feel they are lost in
This television station.
On FOX and ABC and
Wacky other stations.
I wish the world never saw
These crappy tv stations.
Maybe it was thought for good,
Maybe it was thought for fame.
Who knows; who really cares?
I have a feeling this
World is falling
Into a false reality.
The high tech geek,
A 70s kid gone powerful.
I feel this is unnecessary,
For all of computers
Are very complex work.
The Mac and PC and
Other such machines.
I wish they were all destroyed.
Maybe Gates was thinking
This will help humans out.
I doubt anyone thinks
It was more than money’s howl.
I have a feeling,
This world is falling
Into a false reality.
And I am scared.

In all honesty, technology offers more positive than negative. There is concerns, though. Always check sources and question everything.
