Poem: Everywhere I turn

(This was gonna go a little more everywhere, but it didnt. and it works.)

Everywhere I Turn

everywhere i turn
someone says i should die
because my health isnt worthy
in everyone’s eye

dont kill that baby
let it kill you first
maybe it will live
not according to the doctors

everywhere i turn
people tell me i was wrong
to let me body strengthen
before taking such a chance

dont lose it
make it struggle
just cause you are dying
doesnt mean it will too

um you dont get it
do you?
my life should matter
i already exist
and no it cant live
no matter what you say

everywhere i turn
you shout i am wrong
when will my life matter
or is it only the unborn?
