The dedication for Dragon Rider 6th Grade is:
For Cyro’s Eleventh Birthday
To Cyro and his cousin’s favorite uncle L.
The first part <For Cyro’s Eleventh Birthday> should be kinda obvious. Cyro was the reason I started publishing this series. They wanted it done and out in the world. How can I say no to that?
If I were to pick any position in the story it would be Rachel Greene, the one who dies to start the first book. Natalie’s unknown mother. The one who left clues without any knowledge as to who Natalie really is.
That would mean Natalie is much like Cyro. My cute little preteen who searches for who they are in a world filled with danger, misdirection, and hate.
My Cyro won’t get the fairy tale father that Natalie does. Sorry, child. Cyro’s father wanted to abort them and then wanted nothing to do with us after child was born.
I guess that’s not completely the case, or I wouldn’t’ve been pregnant when he left. We haven’t seen hide nor hair of him in years. It’s stressful to see him in Cyro.
Try not crying and hating your child because they look like someone who destroyed you. It’s not easy.
All of Dragon Rider will be to Cyro. Perhaps with a note like this one saying happy birthday. Or wishing well on a tournament or test. Don’t know yet, but the series as a whole is for them.
Each book will have a secondary dedication. Not just to Cyro. Someone who if they didn’t exist in my life the book never would have happened as it did.
For 6th Grade and the complexity and cuteness that is Alex, you have Uncle L to thank. Those who know me and my family, you’ll know who L is. But I’d rather not give any real details. I’ve mentioned him before. He deserves the consideration as both Love Interest, Hero, and dedication.
Maybe one day he’ll realize it. Who knows.
Any questions don’t be afraid to comment.
Dragon Rider 6th Grade
Family-less Natalie is being kicked out of school.
Alex puts his job on the line to stop it. “Anyone stated Dragon Rider by me will receive a second chance.”
I’m a Dragon Rider?
