Poem: Enlightenment

(My favorite place: the library)

Enlightenment

Staring across the vast filled room
Books upon books cover every wall
All that knowledge comforts me
But that comfort comes and goes for most
As many who cannot even recall
Libraries keep a country from fall
The ruin of lack of knowledge
Sends so many into the dark ages
Remind everyone you know
Libraries are free places for all to go
Whoever learns the truth within
Finds the knowledge these places hold
A starting place for the journeys untold.
