Poem: I am Mad

(Cute little guys who get mad at you for calling them cute. I swear, tiny children are the adorablenessest.)
(I did make that word up.)

I Am Mad

“I am mad,” I tell my friends
They laugh and laugh and call me cute
AGAIN!

“I am mad,” I tell my dad
He jokes about the fool I am
AGAIN!

“I am mad,” I tell my mom
She rubs my head and whispers, “Calm.”
Again…

“I am mad,” I tell myself
But what did cause my angry self
Again?

“I am mad?” I whisper out
I can’t recall what made me shout
Again.
